New Consumer Collision Education Website Now Live

Website created by OEM Collision Repair Roundtable geared toward educating consumers on all aspects of collision repair.

Gary Ledoux, assistant national manager of wholesale parts marketing for American Honda, announced at the Collision Industry Conference on Jan. 16 that a new consumer education website, www.crashrepairinfo.com, is now live.

Created by the OEM Collision Repair Roundtable, the website strives to educate consumers on the different types of crash parts on the market, what to do after an accident, how to choose the right body shop, their rights as consumers, collision repair terminology and more.

"Being in a collision can be traumatic for anyone," said Ledoux. "Many times, people don’t know where to turn for information. It was our intent to provide those consumers with the information they need to make informed, sound decisions about their vehicle’s repair."
