Midwest Auto Body Trade Show: Photo Gallery

This past weekend, the Iowa Collision Repair Association presented the Midwest Auto Body Trade Show at Prairie Meadows hotel and casino in Altoona, Iowa.

Collision repairers from Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and as far away as Alaska came to the show to pick up best practices and strategies for their shops.

BodyShop Business Senior Editor Josh Cable was there, capturing these photos from the trade show and educational sessions at the free event.

Mark Olson, CEO of Vehicle Collision Experts, moderated an engaging panel discussion titled, “Where Do You Start to Do the Right Thing?”.

 

The trade show featured national and regional vendors offering a variety of collision repair products and services.

 

Attorney Todd Tracy, who represented the Seebachans in their multimillion-dollar lawsuit against John Eagle Collision Center, offered a rousing session on “Getting Vehicle Safety Professionals Re-Focused on Fighting the Insurance Industry.”

 

Janet Chaney assembled an all-star cast of shop owners and managers, trainers and thought leaders for the show’s education sessions.

 

Matthew McDonnell, owner of Big Sky Collision Network in Montana, shared his energy and knowledge during two sessions.

 

I-CAR instructor and BodyShop Business contributor Mitch Becker led two informative sessions on scanning and recalibration.

Iowa Insurance Commissioner Doug Ommen fielded some tough questions from shop owners during the Feb. 17 general session.

Jill Tuggle, executive director of the Auto Body Association of Texas, introduced Tracy.

Ron Reichen, owner of Precision Body & Paint in Oregon, participated in the Feb. 16 panel discussion.
