The newly formed Kansas Auto Body Association will be hosting its second educational event of 2018 on July 28 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Salinas, Kan.
A welcome reception sponsored by Mitchell International kicks off the event on Friday at 7 p.m. A networking continental breakfast will be held Saturday morning, followed by a presentation by the Kansas Auto Body Association titled, “Who We Are and How We Did It.” A review of Mike Anderson of Collision Advice’s “Who Pays For What?” survey by Jake Aufenkamp and James Rodis from Woodhouse Collision Center in Blair, Neb., will focus on getting paid for what you do. Wayne Krause from Mitchell International will present an overview on the importance of technology to collision repair facilities and the importance of getting focused and up to speed on:
- Scanning
- OE procedures
- OE position statements
After a networking lunch, attendees will participate in an industry roundtable discussion that will address issues representing the Kansas collision repair market.
David Luehr, co-author of “The Secrets of America’s Best Body Shops,” will then wrap up the day.
