Oklahoma Auto Body Association to Host Trade Show

The trade show and education forum will take place Feb. 2-3, 2024 at the Cox Business Center in Tulsa, Okla. 

The Oklahoma Auto Body Association (OKABA) announced it will be hosting a trade show and education forum Feb. 2-3, 2024 at the Cox Business Center in Tulsa, Okla. 

The event will kick off Friday evening, Feb. 2 with a vendor social event where collision repairers can meet with their vendors and check out the latest and greatest equipment for their shops. A highlight of the experience will be a comedy show by nationally known comedian Billy D. Washington of HBO Comedy Festivals, BET and Last Comic Standing. 

The trade show will kick off on Saturday, Feb. 3, lasting all day to accommodate all attendees and also facilitate their participation in various education programs being offered, including:

  • Keynote speaker Allison Massari, burn survivor and top 10 speaker for motivation and personal development, who will speak during a luncheon on the trade show floor on “Triumph Through Change”.
  • Mark Olson of VECO Experts: “Where Are You At — Where Are You Going?” To know where you are going, you must know where you are at. The “eye on the prize” is the game.
  • Tony Adams of AkzoNobel: “Freedom To Speak – Improve Employee Retention and Engagement through Improved Communication”.
  • Amber Ritter of the Collision Repair Education Foundation: “Take Charge of Your Future Workforce — 5 Steps to Start Today through Volunteerism”.
  • Aaron Schulenberg, executive director of the Society of Collision Repair Specialists: “Battling the History of the Blend — Details of the Blend Study”.
  • Clay Hoberecht, owner of Best Body Shop in Wichita, Kan.: “Etch A Sketch: The Repair Industry (How to Compete).

“The Oklahoma association board has put tremendous effort into this event and is excited to introduce their ‘out of the box’ efforts to the industry,” said Ementi Coary, executive director of the OKABA.
