The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) has expanded its member benefit offerings to include specially negotiated pricing incentives for ALLDATA Collision subscriptions.
ALLDATA Collision is a powerful tool that includes manufacturers’ procedures for sectioning, working on new materials, re-initializing electronic systems, welded panel replacement, hybrid handling procedures, finishing and more. ALLDATA Collision was introduced to the market in 2006 in response to collision industry requests.
"I’m so pleased to be able to deliver a benefit that makes complete and conclusive information about repair requirements accessible to our members," said SCRS Chairman Barry Dorn. "Today’s vehicles are increasingly more challenging to repair and require our members to have the information and technical procedures readily available at their fingertips. The access to that information can present an additional financial cost for repair facilities, and we are proud to facilitate an opportunity to minimize that cost for our membership. The best part is that, in many cases, the savings we have negotiated in this benefit alone outweigh the cost of membership to SCRS."
"ALLDATA Collision offers SCRS members an extremely important tool for efficiently and profitably repairing collision damage," said Wayne Mitchell, ALLDATA director of national accounts. "OE information and detailed diagrams are essential to the safe repair of today’s complex vehicles, and that’s what ALLDATA Collision provides. SCRS is a well respected organization, and they have a tradition of promoting quality and professionalism within the collision industry. ALLDATA is proud to be affiliated with them."
