The Boyd Group Inc. today announced the opening of two new repair centers,
located in Grove City, Ohio and Seattle, Wash. A third center in Everett, Wash., is expected to open
next week.
With these additions,
the Boyd Group now owns and operates nine repair centers in Ohio and 10 in
Washington, bringing the total number of U.S. locations to 128.
The Grove City, Ohio start-up facility operates under the
True2Form Collision Repair Centers trade name and is approximately 19,000
square feet, with 13,000 square feet of production space. The Seattle, Wash., and Everett,
Wash., facilities operate under the Gerber Collision & Glass trade name
and are approximately 19,000 and 9,000 square feet in size, respectively.
The Boyd Group now owns and operates 38
repair centers that operate under the True2Form trade name and 63 under the Gerber
Collision & Glass trade name.
"We’re continuing to execute on our strategy of
expanding into select markets and growing our network of repair centers across
North America," said Tim O’Day, president and COO of the Boyd Group’s U.S.
Operations. "Our newest
start-up facility in Grove City is our fifth location in the Columbus metro
area and expands our service territory to southwestern Franklin County.
"We’re also excited about our strengthening
presence in Washington, as we expand our service offerings to customers and
insurance partners in the west side of Seattle as well as south and central
Everett. The design of these new
facilities has taken into account lean manufacturing initiatives, with the
Seattle location additionally including a regional training facility."
