Seats Filling for Collision Repairer Legal Seminar

"This legal seminar is not about how to sue insurance companies...it's about protecting yourself, your company and your employees from easily avoidable liabilities, loss of profits and other important issues of which every viable business is confronted," said co-organizer Ray Gunder.

To date, over 30 collision repairers have signed up to attend the free legal seminar in Florida being sponsored by Ray Gunder of Gunder’s Auto Center and Barrett Smith of Auto Damage Experts (ADE). The seminar will be held on April 14 at Regal Chevrolet in Lakeland, Fla.

"We’ve had dozens of inquiries and confirmations of attendance from repairers all across the country, including Indiana, Maryland, North Dakota, Arizona and others as far away as Oregon, and we’re getting more interest and inquiries daily. This will be a great event with a lot of good and valuable information shared," said Smith.

"I have had some local repairers who expressed a desire to attend but have what appears to be level of uneasiness or perhaps even fear," he added. "The only thing repairers have to fear is fear itself, as this gathering is designed to aid in improving business operations and relations with third parties including customers, insurers and vendors – areas of business rarely discussed in most collision repair industry meetings."

Gunder added, "While I’m confident the topic of Gunder’s successful legal actions against State Farm and other insurance companies will no doubt arise, it’s important for repairers to understand that this legal seminar is not about how to sue insurance companies…it’s about protecting yourself, your company and your employees from easily avoidable liabilities, loss of profits and other important issues of which every viable business is confronted. I and others have already blazed that trail…all anyone who may be interested in following that path has to do is follow it."

"If anything, this seminar will concentrate on how to prepare and operate your business in a manner that will build relationships that will help avoid the legal measures that I and others have been forced to take," Gunder added.
