Don & Ron’s CARSTAR Takes Pride in Putting Customers ‘at Ease’ After Collisions

When a customer says, “Boy, that was a lot easier than I thought,” it’s music to the ears of the staff at Don & Ron’s CARSTAR in Omaha, Neb.

When a customer says, “Boy, that was a lot easier than I thought,” it’s music to the ears of the staff at Don & Ron’s CARSTAR in Omaha, Neb.

“Maybe their automobile is the second-most expensive thing that they’ve ever purchased, and they’re upset,” explains Mark Krzemien, marketing manager, in a video by the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce. “Or maybe someone in the accident got hurt. So we’re trying to make them feel comfortable, at ease, ‘it’s OK, we’re here to help you.’”

Don & Ron’s CARSTAR is the Greater Omaha Chamber’s January Small Business of the Month.

Krzemien, whose father (Don) and uncle (Ron) started the shop in 1965, tells the chamber that the business places a premium on operating with integrity.

“It’s easy to have integrity when people are watching,” Krzemien says. “But when you are alone or you can ‘get away with things,’ that’s when your true colors show. Always practice honesty and integrity with your customers and you can’t go wrong.”
