G&C Auto Body Opens Two New Locations in Northern California

MSO's total network now includes nine stores; gross sales for 2012 forecasted to hit $30 million.

G&C Auto Body opened a 16,000-square-foot store in Ukiah, Calif., on May 29 and a 10,000-square-foot store in Fairfield on June 4, expanding its total network to nine stores throughout northern California. Last year, the MSO opened shops in Novato and Rohnert Park.

G&C, run by owner Gene Crozat and son, Shawn, who serves as chief operating officer, now has 75 employees and 60 independent repair technicians repairing an average of 215 vehicles per week. Gross sales last year were $22.75 million and are forecasted to hit $30 million in 2012.

The Fairfield location had previously operated as Fairfield Auto Body for 30 years. The shop now has five employees and was given a facelift to resemble G&C’s other shops, some of which look like high-end residential homes.
