Nu-Look Collision Honored by Local Chamber of Commerce

Rochester, N.Y.-based collision repair operation recognized for increasing number of jobs in area; employee satisfaction; advancement of women in industry and more.

Nu-Look Collision Inc., a Rochester, N.Y.-based collision repair company, recently received the Business in the Spotlight (BITS) award from the Gates-Chili Chamber of Commerce in recognition of the company’s contribution to “the economic vibrancy of the community, community involvement, special achievements, growth and success, and job creation.”

The award, given quarterly, requires an in-depth nomination, interview and judging process. Companies are critiqued on several levels including contribution to the local economy and community; success, longevity, and growth of the company; and unique approach to the industry.

“Nu-Look works diligently to counter the longstanding perceived poor reputation commonly held among the collision repair and auto body shop industry,” said Carla Vazquez, Gates-Chili Chamber of Commerce member and interviewer for the BITS award, in a recommendation letter she wrote to Chamber members. “They work to instill trust and a high level of customer satisfaction through their honest and dependable service.”

Among other accomplishments, Nu-Look was recognized for increasing the number of jobs in the area; a high level of employee satisfaction; the advancement of women in the collision industry; extensive community service; and the adoption of environmentally-safe operations.

“It’s quite an honor to be recognized by the Chamber for our efforts in the community and within the company,” said Todd Zigrossi in an acceptance speech during the award ceremony. “As a locally-owned business, we believe that we owe our 33 years of success to our loyal customers, the community and our employees.”
