Education and preparation are often thought of as the keys to success. If you want to be the best, you have to work hard and continue to perfect your craft. Axalta Coating Systems is offering an opportunity to do just that with the launch of “Mike & Friends.” The auto body repair seminar will take place in Chicago on June 17th and 18th. Mike & Friends is part of a series designed by automotive industry expert Mike Anderson, president of Collision Advice. The inaugural meeting was held last year in Atlanta. The event promises to be “an engaging experience that will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn from industry experts.”

Anderson, Ray Chew of CCC Information Services, Inc., and other guests will speak on a variety of topics, including:

  • Positioning yourself in the collision repair industry
  • The latest trends in collision repair
  • The use of data to improve performance
  • New ways to incorporate technology into the workplace.

Mike Jones, president of Discover Leadership, will also offer a leadership and motivational training session.

“As the owner of Collision Advice, I am truly appreciative of the partnership and relationship that I have with Axalta as we travel around the USA and share a message of encouragement with collision repairers on how to THRIVE and not just SURVIVE,” said Anderson. “These are exciting times in the collision repair industry. We look forward to sharing with shops how OEM certifications and understanding data are key to their ability to achieve and maintain success.”

Mike & Friends will take place at the Crown Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel & Conference Center on Friday, June 17th, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., and on Saturday, June 18th, 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. If you are interested in registering for the event, contact your Axalta representative, distributor or email [email protected].
