BASF Automotive Refinish will exhibit and present its latest products and processes at the 2014 International Autobody Congress and Exposition Expo & Conference (NACE/CARS) from July 30 through Aug. 2 at the Cobo Center in Detroit.
The company will also host autograph sessions on July 31 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. and Aug. 1 from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. with the star of Overhaulin’ and owner of Foose Design, Chip Foose. A restyled Wes Rydell 1954 Chevy “Cool Air” Bel-Air from Foose painted in BASF’s Glasurit 90-Line will be on display at the BASF booth (no. 18008).
In addition, Foose will conduct a paint demonstration with BASF Glasurit 90-Line on Friday, Aug. 1 at noon in the Cobo Center.
As part of the conference program, Hans Kempf, training manager from BASF, will discuss Advanced Color Adjustment Tools and Techniques on Friday, Aug. 1. BASF will also sponsor the Collision Repair Executive Symposium (CRES), held on Friday, Aug. 1 during the expo.
