Nashville Welcomes 19th Annual AkzoNobel Sikkens Acoat Selected Conference

Approximately 200 members of the collision repair industry will converge on The Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tenn., September 17 to 19, 2012 for the 19th annual AkzoNobel Sikkens Acoat Selected Conference. Collision repair centers and distributors will share successes, discover innovative solutions to today’s unique business issues and develop relationships with progressive businesses in the collision repair industry.

One of the oldest programs of its type, the Sikkens Acoat selected program is noted for the insights and knowledge sharing that occurs within the network of members. The 2012 summer program will feature breakout sessions, individual consulting and performance group experiences. Customized curriculums have been developed for the 2012 program to address a number of critical business opportunities facing the collision repair industry today:

• Achieving sustainable business practices through a process-centered environment
• Business growth through capabilities found in today’s technology innovations
• Managing and leading change 
• Technician motivation through repair planning
• Building employee accountability – best practices workshop
• Negotiating – successful communication strategies

The keynote speaker will be Edward G. Campbell. Campbell, who has worked with leaders such as Ford, Cadillac, Audi and Volkswagen, will deliver a riveting program on motivational leadership.
