Anticipation for the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey’s (AASP/NJ) 36th annual NORTHEAST 2013 Automotive Services Show is quickly growing as the event rapidly approaches. The show will take place March 8-10 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, N.J.
NORTHEAST 2013 is jam-packed with an exciting schedule of seminars and demos, as well as 55,000 square feet of exhibition space containing more than 150 of the automotive service industry’s leading vendors. Special events at this year’s show include the NORTHEAST 2013 exclusive “Insurer-Mandated Parts Procurement: A Discussion from the Frontlines” seminar, which will provide an inside look at the trend of parts procurement programs, including State Farm’s PartsTrader and American Family’s APU Solutions. The panel discussion will feature shops, parts suppliers and representatives from these programs’ trial areas in Chicago, Tucson, Omaha and Alabama. Society of Collision Repair Specialists Executive Director Aaron Schulenburg will moderate.
“I think we’ve put together the total package this year,” said AASP/NJ President Jeff McDowell. “Educationally, we are covering everything from parts procurement to social media to I-CAR. Anyone who attends is guaranteed to come out of the show a better businessperson and/or industry professional. For families, we have Family Day, which will allow attendees to bring along their kids and spend some time playing fun games and sharing ice cream and popcorn. As for the show floor, you will see all of the latest technology and equipment available to our industry, and it’s all in your own backyard. Drive in, spend the day and be back in your own bed at night. It’s the best of all worlds right here, five miles from the heart of New York City. It is an event you can’t afford to miss.”
