The highlight of the day was a seminar titled, "Parts Procurement – Best Practices." It was presented by well-known industry speaker and consultant Mike Anderson, whose opening words were, "We will thrive – not just survive.” Anderson documented the changes and challenges in today’s marketplace and offered solutions to repairers to "be the best in your area."

Anderson also facilitated a roundtable discussion at the MCRS meeting luncheon that consisted of eight Montana shop owners pondering Anderson’s question of, “What’s keeping you up at night?"

Finally, MCRS lobbyist Drew Geiger brought the industry up to date on the Montana state legislature activities at an interactive breakfast meeting, highlighting current legislation that might affect the industry.
