Matrix System Launches ‘Artists 4 Education’ Campaign

Proceeds of custom-painted art pieces to go to Collision Repair Education Foundation and Oakland Schools Education Foundation.

Matrix System Automotive Finishes has announced the launch of its "Artists 4 Education" endeavor.

This campaign unites airbrushers and pin-stripers to create custom pieces that will be auctioned off during the 2013 SEMA Show and the 2013 Woodward Dream Cruise event. All proceeds will be distributed to the Collision Repair Education Foundation and the Oakland Schools Education Foundation.

“Our Artists 4 Education campaign was created with the sole purpose of raising awareness to the growing shortage of certified technicians entering into the collision repair industry," said David Brunori, president of Quest Automotive Products. "My team has reached out to custom artists across the country to participate in this unique project and, with no surprise, the airbrush and pin-striping community is bending over backwards to get involved."

Custom-painted items range from spray guns to vintage gumball and popcorn machines. The artist lineup consists of some of the best airbrushers and pin-stripers in the industry: Nub, Steve DeMan, Mike Learn, Mitch Peacock, Ron "Flea" Fleanor, Bugs, Armando Serrano, Jeff Styles, Jonathan Pantaleon, Ryan Evans, Richard “Duke” Bobinac, Brian Lynch, Don Ruks, Pat Paldino, James Kunzinger and Sam Shriver.
