Sherwin-Williams to Host Next EcoLean Course in Cleveland

"Estimating Solutions for Profit" slated for June 25 will cover included and not-included items and other estimating essentials.

Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes will host its next A-Plus University EcoLean Suite of training course offerings, "Estimating Solutions for Profit," on June 25, 2013 in the Greater Cleveland area at the DoubleTree by Hilton Cleveland – East Beachwood, Ohio.

Designed to meet the challenges collision repair facilities face in today’s economic climate, participants in the course will learn how to close more sales and increase business at the front end of the body shop. The program targets collision repair facility owners, managers, estimators and customer service representatives who are interested in improving their closing ratios and creating loyal customers.

“The fundamentals of this course are applicable to every aspect of the collision repair industry. It will truly change your traditional thinking of how to manage the entire collision repair process,” said Troy Neuerburg, director of sales excellence at Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes. “Once you’re armed with these principles and simple tools, you’ll be able to change the way your organization writes estimates and performs forever; it is the first, and one of the most necessary steps, in remaining competitive in the collision repair marketplace.”

The course curriculum includes:

  • Understanding how the accuracy of an estimate affects the production process
  • Improving customer satisfaction by clearly documenting all materials used and work performed
  • Including all necessary operations in your estimate through a better understanding of the P-Pages ("included" versus "not-included" operations)
  • Increasing your collision center’s financial performance
  • Improving your negotiating skills
