BodyShop Business Now Accepting 2014 Executive of the Year Nominations

Two awards will be distributed this year, one to a single-shop executive and one to a multi-shop executive; deadline is April 1.

BodyShop Business is now accepting nominations for its 2014 Executive of the Year Award. This year, two awards will be granted: one for a single-shop executive, and one for a multi-shop executive. Any person employed in a collision repair shop as a manager or principle is eligible.

The award is given to a true collision repair "visionary," someone who has experienced great success by being forward thinking, overcoming challenges and persevering. Winners will be selected based on experience, special achievements and involvement within the local community and collision repair industry.

Award winners will be announced at the 2014 Industry Week event, which takes place July 28 through Aug. 2 at Detroit’s Cobo Center and combines NACE, CIC, the I-CAR Annual Conference and the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s annual golf fundraiser event. The deadline to submit a nomination is April 30. Self-nominations are encouraged.

The National Auto Body Council (NABC) has announced the winners of the NABC Lone Star Changing and Saving Lives Golf Fundraiser held April 10, 2024 at the Texas Star Golf Course in Dallas. 

More than 125 players, sponsors and industry members gathered for the second tournament of the NABC season. The day featured the presentation of a Recycled Ride to deserving U.S. Army veteran Kijafa Adams prior to the shotgun. In addition, the NABC presented two vehicles the day prior at the PPG Conference to U.S. Army veteran Nathan Burrows and single mother Walnisha Stevenson.
