3M and NAPA Auto Parts to Offer Free Auto Detailing to Military Spouses

Event to feature "thank you" celebration, hosted by NASCAR driver Greg Biffle's pit crew.

3M and NAPA Auto Parts will be hosting a special car cleanup event for military spouses on Tuesday, May 20 at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, N.C.

A team of volunteers from 3M, NAPA, local auto body repair shops and Fayetteville Technical College will perform free vehicle detailing for spouses of deployed and fallen soldiers. The event will be hosted by lead anchor and president of the Performance Racing Network, Doug Rice, who will broadcast the 2014 Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

In addition, members from NASCAR driver Greg Biffle’s crew and the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion will be on hand to participate in a special “thank you” celebration rally open to all the troops on the base. The event will feature a pit crew demonstration and a Q&A with team members.

The 3M Hire Our Heroes program, which provides scholarships and grants to deserving military members and their families interested in a career in the collision industry, will have a special tent to showcase the program.
