Upcoming Meeting to Focus on Combating Insurer Involvement in Collision Repair Industry

SafeCars has announced that it will host a special meeting Saturday, Oct. 18 at the DoubleTree Hotel, BWI Airport, in Linthicum Heights, Md., to discuss how to best combat increasing insurer involvement in the collision repair industry. The free event will take place at noon and is open exclusively to collision repairers or verified industry vendors.

Nationally recognized speakers slated to attend the event include Ron Perretta, Tony Passwater and John Arthur Eaves Jr. They will not only provide attendees with valuable information, but will also be available to answer questions and concerns.

Pre-registration online is required to attend this event, and attendees must bring a business card and photo ID to be admitted.

The National Auto Body Council (NABC), along with GEICO, Farmers, Allstate, Gerber Collision & Glass-Cartersville, Crash Champions-Marietta and Caliber Collision-Fayetteville, recently donated refurbished vehicles to two veterans and a single mother via the NABC's Recycled Rides program.

The presentations took place at the I-CAR Charity Golf Tournament in Woodstock, Ga.
