Bodyshop Revolution Implements Technology at Marshall Auto Body

Company claims its equipping of auto body shops can increase efficiency and reduce cycle time by up to 60 percent.

Bodyshop Revolution, which equips auto body shops to increase efficiency and reduce cycle time by up to 60 percent, announced that it has successfully implemented its technology at Marshall Auto Body in Waukesha, Wis.

The company claims its gas catalytic drying robots, panel repair tools and processes offer a continuous workflow environment that reduces part replacement by up to 40 percent and dries paint in just 53 seconds.

“The equipment works exactly as advertised. We’re saving half the time on drying fillers and paint,” said Aaron Marshall, president of Marshall Auto Body.

The 13,000-square-foot shop, which employs 22 technicians, utilizes a waterborne paint system. “Flashing of the waterborne basecoat is dramatically better, and we do not have the expense of quick-drying clears,” adds Marshall.

“Bodyshop Revolution shops recognize dramatic reductions on paint materials and energy consumption,” said Patrick O’Neill, president of Bodyshop Revolution North America. “Shops will see not only a big reduction in natural gas usage but also a significant drop in electricity as you’re cutting spraybooth cycles in half. We welcome Marshall Auto Body to our network of efficient repair facilities and look forward to our upcoming installations including Keenan Auto Body in Pennsylvania, The Rydell Group in North Dakota, LaMettry’s Collision and Superior Auto Body in Minnesota.”
