Babcox Media Hires New Director of Digital Media

Babcox Media has announced the appointment of Michael Madej as director of digital media.

In this role, Madej will be responsible for driving reader engagement and enhancing the user experience for Babcox brands. He will work closely with Babcox Media editors and publishers, as well as the company’s audience development team in creating and deploying custom content solutions. Madej joins Babcox Media from Vendome Group, where he was responsible for all sales related to the company’s Healthcare Informatics brand. Prior to that, he spent 15 years with Penton Media, where he was the leader of all digital activities for the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Group and oversaw the strategic direction for IndustryWeek’s print, digital, event and data properties.

He brings a wealth of experience in the development of new information products that help connect buyers and sellers,” said John DiPaola, vice president/group publisher, Babcox Media. “We are especially excited to bring Michael on at the same time we are launching AMN Global, and a number of other new and innovative products, where he will have a key role.”

Madej earned his Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace University.
