NASCAR Teams to Host Sherwin-Williams EcoLean Workshop

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race Teams to Host Sherwin-Williams EcoLean Level 1 Workshop

Program designed to help collision centers incorporate lean production strategy into day-to-day operations.

Sherwin-Williams-ADSherwin-Williams announced its next EcoLean Level 1 workshop, September 15-16, 2015, on location at NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams Joe Gibbs Racing and Roush Fenway Racing in Charlotte, N.C. The program was first introduced more than five years ago and since then, each workshop session has been sold out.

While at NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams Joe Gibbs Racing and Roush Fenway Racing, collision center owners and managers from across the U.S. and Canada will receive training from top collision services business consultants and see first-hand how an organization can embrace lean principals to greatly assist in its workflow, communication and increased productivity. This Charlotte session will also feature behind-the-scene tours and discussions with team members from two of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series’ leading race teams.

“We aim to give our EcoLean workshop attendees an extensive and comprehensive look at how they can create a lean environment in their own facility,” says Greg Eisenhardt, Sherwin-Williams A-Plus Network marketing manager. “This is a particularly special and rare opportunity for many. Our attendees will be able to learn lean principles while engaging with our business consultants. We have heard great response from customers about the positive impact to their net profit; some have increased 30 percent!”

The EcoLean Level 1 workshop and program from Sherwin-Williams are offered to collision center owners and dealership managers from across the U.S. and Canada. They are designed to educate attendees on how to maximize profitability by improving production and eliminating waste throughout their facilities.
