Service King Collision Repair Centers, in continuation of its long-term Mission 2 Hire initiative, announced it will host a hiring fair and development day exclusively for Dallas-Ft. Worth military veterans and family members. The event is scheduled for Dec. 3rd inside Service King’s Regional Support Center in Richardson, Texas.

The DFW Mission 2 Hire Development Day is free to U.S. Armed Forces veterans and spouses beginning at 8 a.m., and will feature a variety of career development opportunities including expert leadership panel discussions, breakout workshops on a variety of career-readiness topics and a free networking lunch.

“This is yet another exciting opportunity for Service King and our very own teammates to reach out and provide tangible career opportunities to our nation’s heroes,” said Chris Abraham, Service King CEO. “The brave men and women who served in the U.S. Armed Forces exemplify the very skillsets, leadership and commitment to excellence that we strive to recruit for our team. The Mission 2 Hire initiative has helped us do that through hiring more than 50 veterans since May, and we’re thrilled to boost that number with events like this.”

Since launching Mission 2 Hire in May, Service King has recruited and hired 57 U.S. Armed Forces veterans and family members at various positions within the organization.

Through Mission 2 Hire, Service King aims to hire more than 500 veterans in the next five years. In addition to this week’s Development Day, veterans interested in career opportunities with Service King can visit Mission2Hire.careers.
