Autologic Diagnostics and WORLDPAC Enter into Distribution Agreement

Under the agreement, effective immediately, WORLDPAC will begin offering Autologic Assist through its Tools and Equipment Services (TES) division.

Autologic Diagnostics, a worldwide provider of an aftermarket automotive diagnostics solution, and WORLDPAC, Inc., an importer and distributor of original equipment and aftermarket replacement automotive parts, announced that the companies have entered into a distribution agreement to bring the new Autologic Assist diagnostics support solution to WORLDPAC’S North American customers.

Under the agreement, effective immediately, WORLDPAC will begin offering Autologic Assist through its Tools and Equipment Services (TES) division.

Autologic Assist is a suite of capabilities that joins third-party vehicle data resources, diagnostic tools and a cloud-based, multi-functional device on one screen, with real-time access to a team of technicians, simultaneously. It integrates knowledge and service from experts that possess significant OEM experience, helping ensure vehicle issues are diagnosed correctly the first time. This results in both time savings and cost benefits for repair shops.

“This partnership with WORLDPAC will elevate the availability of Autologic Assist amongst repair shops throughout North America,” said Kevin FitzPatrick, president at Autologic North America. “WORLDPAC has a solid reputation as a leading distributor of relevant products for the automotive aftermarket, and its distribution channel affords us a significant opportunity to broaden our reach. Under this partnership, we can attract viable users and allow them to witness firsthand the benefits of our new cloud-based, multi-functional device that works in tandem with highly trained OEM experts to quickly diagnosis issues on European car models.

“Our fully integrated solution is already reaping financial benefit to thousands of users worldwide, and this number is quickly increasing every day. We are confident that with the WORLDPAC relationship and speedDIAL integration enhancements, repair shops will fast appreciate the ways in which we bring together a master support team of 100-plus technicians and a cloud-connected device to change the way diagnostics are performed as they find and fix faults, fast.”

Mario Recchia, senior vice president of marketing at WORLDPAC, added, “We have worked closely together with Autologic and its team over the years to offer our customers the company’s original diagnostic tool, and this next generation solution fulfills a need in the marketplace for even more repair facilities to work on import vehicles. The new Autologic Assist, coupled with its expansive, first-class tech support network, make it a perfect fit for our organization, whereby we offer customers more real-time, value-add programs that make their jobs easier.

“We are extremely excited to expand our long-term working partnership with Autologic by distributing their industry leading Assist OE-style diagnostic solution across North America. An important element of our growth strategy includes supplying customers with state-of-the-art products and solutions. We can now offer the latest in OEM-style training through our WORLDPAC Training Institute (WTI) and with Autologic Assist, the most advanced, speedDIAL integrated diagnostic system available in the marketplace today,” Recchia noted.
