The Boyd Group announced the Jan. 12 opening of a Gerber Collision & Glass facility in Lawrenceville, Ga.

The brownfield development previously operated as a motorcycle and all-terrain vehicle repair shop. Now a Gerber location, the center is located in one of the major retail corridors off State Route 316, a well-traveled highway connecting the University of Georgia to Atlanta and commonly referred to as University Parkway.

“This newly developed center is located eight miles east of our Duluth location and further extends our presence into the northeast suburbs of Atlanta,” said Tim O’Day, president and COO of the Boyd Group. “With the opening of our 23rd location in Georgia, we continue to cement our presence in the state and expand our capacity to serve our customers and insurance partners in the area.”
