Sherwin-Williams Introduces Ultra 9K Waterborne Basecoat System

Sherwin-Williams' new Ultra 9K Waterborne Basecoat System goes beyond the expected VOC compliance and user-friendliness of any waterborne system.

Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes has introduced a refinish system that is redefining waterborne – the Ultra 9K Waterborne Basecoat System.

A streamlined bank combined with Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes’ premium portfolio of undercoats and clears, Ultra 9K delivers critical, production-specific needs including consistent color match, speed and long-lasting finish. It has proved to be one of the easiest-to-use refinishing systems on the market complete with 68 toners and a single reducer making up the non-stirring mixing system to provide customers with dependable color and reliable application properties.

Sherwin-Williams’ basecoat technology goes beyond the expected VOC compliance and user-friendliness of any waterborne system with a color portfolio that is easy to learn and mix. Designed to drive productivity and efficiency in the shop, Ultra 9K comes with an all-new color retrieval experience, a spectrophotometer and global color box – making even the most difficult color match easy.

Adding to its effortlessness, Ultra 9K relies on one single reducer and is combined with Sherwin-Williams’ premium line of undercoats and dynamic clears including top-selling CC200 and CC250 – pushing that speed from color to clear factor.

With the ease more typical of solvent, Ultra 9K is your best premium waterborne option for keeping your productivity up to speed. The precise and exceptional color match will improve cycle times, reduce bottlenecks and increase productivity.
