CARSTAR has announced the opening of two CARSTAR locations, CARSTAR Proline Auto Body of Pinebrook and CARSTAR Proline Body & Chassis, both located in New Jersey.
Todd Fontana, owner of both CARSTAR Proline Auto Body of Pinebrook and CARSTAR Proline Body & Chassis, has decades of experience in the automotive repair industry. He has always had an interest in cars, and his interest developed even further when he turned 18 and bought himself a 1969 Firebird for his birthday. This car quickly became both a passion project and learning opportunity for Fontana, who taught himself how to make all the modifications and fixes he desired. Fontana’s past experiences working in local shops and as a body painter encouraged him to become an owner.
“Joining the CARSTAR family has been like going to business school for the auto body world,” said Fontana. “I have seen firsthand the value of the working relationships CARSTAR has with its partners, and I feel inspired to keep my business growing.”
The Elmwood location, located in Elmwood Park, measures nearly 9,000 square feet and is staffed with 16 team members. The Pinewood location is 7,000 square feet and is staffed with a team of 10 individuals. Both facilities offer full-service collision repair, hold I-CAR Gold Class status and are OEM-certified for Tesla.
“I feel comforted knowing I can lean on the resources that CARSTAR provides,” Fontana said. “I am optimistic that these resources will empower me to open additional stores in the future.”
Fontana enjoys giving back to the community through local sports sponsorships and charitable donations to the St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital.
