NABC Donates Recycled Ride to Deserving Georgia Woman

The NABC, along with Travelers and Classic Collision, recently donated a refurbished vehicle to a deserving Tucker, Ga., woman.

The National Auto Body Council (NABC), along with Travelers and Classic Collision, recently donated a refurbished vehicle to a deserving Tucker, Ga., woman through the NABC’s Recycled Rides program.

The vehicle, which was presented at the Classic Collision location in Marietta, will give Cournae Maxwell the ability to work and take care of her family.

Maxwell, who was nominated by Wellroot Family Services, works hard as a custodian, a job she has held for the last two years. She had been using public transportation to drop off her daughter at daycare and then to get to work each day. She was seeking ways to increase her income and to enhance the quality of life for her family, goals that the donated 2017 Kia Soul will make possible.

“This is life-changing for my family,” said Maxwell. “I want to thank everyone who coordinated this effort. I’m just so overwhelmed with the kindness that I experienced today, and my daughter is so excited for her new car and her car seat.”

Added Classic Collision Brand Marketing Manager Bekka Jackson, “This is one of the ways that Classic Collision gives back to families in our communities. Through the NABC Recycled Rides Program, we’re not just gifting vehicles, we’re providing a pathway to independence, opportunity and a brighter future.”

Additional partners in the presentation included Cars for Charity, Advanced Remarketing Services, Copart, Ultimate Auto Glass & Electronics (which donated a car seat) and Global Imports BMW (which donated a gift card to help with expenses).
