ABRA Acquires Five-Store Bradshaw Collision Repair Operation

Minnesota-based consolidator increases footprint in Tennessee and boosts total shop count to 122 in 12 states.

ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a Minnesota-based damaged vehicle repair company, announced today the acquisition of all five Bradshaw Collision Repair Centers in the Nashville, Tenn., area.

The deal increases ABRA’s footprint in Tennessee (Nashville, Gallatin, Madison, Franklin and Murfreesboro) and boosts the number of shops nationwide to 122 in 12 states.

“Bradshaw Collision has a rich history of auto body repair in the Nashville area," said ABRA President and Chief Executive Officer Duane Rouse. "We’re extremely pleased to have the opportunity to continue on the path forged by such a well respected and successful entrepreneur.”

ABRA says that Bradshaw Collision’s reputation for excellence, quality and professionalism has been recognized in the Tennessee area since 1967.

“Not only does this acquisition align with our growth strategy, it reinforces ABRA’s footprint in the region and furthers our mission of becoming the leading auto body and glass company in America,” said Rouse.

ABRA says it is known throughout the collision industry for its low cycle times, which it claims results in cars being repaired four days faster than competitors on average.

“We utilize an operational excellence philosophy that significantly improves our operating metrics and gives us a competitive edge,” said ABRA Executive Vice President of Operations Scott Krohn. “It’s instrumental in achieving efficiency and productivity. ABRA consistently rates high in customer satisfaction because of the superior processes we have in place.”

The company is continuing its aggressive national growth plans and is actively seeking opportunities to acquire additional repair centers.
