AkzoNobel Kicks Off Sustainability Challenge Grant with Two Webinars
Collision school educators encouraged to attend webinars to learn how to raise students’ awareness of sustainability.
AkzoNobel Automotive & Aerospace Coatings (A&AC) and the Collision Repair Education Foundation have announced two webinars to kick off the collision repair industry’s first Sustainability Challenge Grant. New for the 2013-14 school year, the Sustainability Challenge Grant aims to encourage awareness and thinking about sustainability among students with aspirations to enter the collision repair industry.
Educators, administrators and others at secondary and post-secondary schools are invited to attend one of the free webinars, which take place Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 4 p.m. EDT and Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 10 a.m. EDT. Mike Shesterkin, general manager of What’s Next and one of the collision repair industry’s leading experts on sustainable business practices, will introduce the grant program, preview resources for teaching about systems thinking and reinventing business processes, provide insight into the grant application process and facilitate discussion.
To register, contact [email protected]. If you’re unable to attend, an on-demand recording will be available on the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s website Aug. 30.
