AkzoNobel to Present Sustainability Webinar

"Going Beyond Lean & Green to Sustainability" is part of ongoing series to educate industry on standards and practices that enable informed choices for both business and environment.

AkzoNobel Automotive and Aerospace Coatings (A&AC) North America has announced that Commercial Services Leader Barry Rinehart will be the guest speaker for a July educational webinar entitled, “Going Beyond Lean & Green to Sustainability.” The program will take place Tuesday, July 29 from 10 to 11 a.m. PDT.

The webinar is part of an ongoing series that aims to educate the industry’s vehicle services and repair segments on leading standards and practices that aid in enabling informed choices for both business and the environment.

Rinehart will share with industry stakeholders the premise that operationally efficient and effective business practices lead to being not only lean and  green, but also sustainable. He will also discuss the key principles behind AkzoNobel’s Process Centered Environment (PCE) program.

“I’m delighted to have this opportunity to share unique ideas  that challenge traditional attitudes regarding the full potential and  impact  which  businesses operating at peak efficiency can have,” said Rinehart. “Many of the principles being dicussed reflect AkzoNobel’s own business priorities and the ongoing work we’re doing here in North America with other advocates to champion the concept of sustainability in collision repair. We believe attendees will come away from the webinar with a better understanding of how critical processes are to their and the industry’s sustainability.”
