ASRW to Feature Special Activities Throughout Week

Activities to highlight event include MGM-sponsored contest, BodyShop Business party.

Automotive Service and Repair Week (ASRW) will host special activities throughout the week in New Orleans to commemorate the 30th annual NACE and recognize the 11 companies and the four attendees who have participated in all 30 shows.

The four attendees who have attended all 30 NACE events are Jack Caldwell (honorary designation), Jerry Kottschade, Kathy Moyer and Chuck Sulkala.

The 11 exhibiting companies that will be featured at this year’s show are ABRN, ASE, Audatex, Automotive Service Association/Auto Inc., BodyShop Business, Car-O-Liner, H&S Autoshot, I-CAR, Mitchell, Pull-It and Steck Manufacturing.

All attendees are encouraged to participate in a special contest featuring all exhibitors listed above. Attendees will receive an entry form when they receive their badge, and must visit each of the featured exhibitors to receive a unique hole punch. Once the participating attendees have a punch from each exhibitor, cards can be turned in at the ASRW Housing & Travel booth located in the Attendee Service Center in the lobby of the Morial Convention Center. Completed cards will be entered into a drawing for the following prizes:

Third Prize – Three complimentary nights at one of the MGM Resorts International hotels* within the 2013 ASRW housing block (sponsored by MGM Resorts International).

Second Prize – Four complimentary nights and dinner for two** (valued at $300) at one of the MGM Resorts International hotels* within the 2013 ASRW housing block (sponsored by MGM Resorts International).

Grand Prize – Six complimentary nights, dinner for two** (valued at $300) at one of the MGM Resorts International hotels* within the 2013 ASRW housing block, and theatre tickets for two at any MGM Resorts International show (sponsored by MGM Resorts International).

*Properties include MGM Grand, Luxor, Mandalay Bay and Excalibur. Exact property will be determined by show management.

**Dinner venue will be at the selected hotel.  

BodyShop Business is also celebrating its 30th anniversary and to celebrate, attendees are invited to the BodyShop Business booth (N1129) Friday, Oct. 12, from 2:30-4 p.m. for a reception celebrating both the magazine and NACE. Complimentary refreshments will be served while supplies last.

In addition, each attendee who purchases a Super Pass will receive a special pin to commemorate the ASRW milestone.
