Automotive Lift Institute Elects Officers and Honors Outgoing Chairman

Trade association elects Jerome Lentz of Challenger Lifts as chairman of the board of directors at annual membership meeting.

ALI President R.W. (Bob) O’Gorman (right) presents a service plaque to outgoing ALI Chairman Douglas Grunnet. The Automotive Lift Institute (ALI), a trade association of North American vehicle lift manufacturers, elected Jerome Lentz of Challenger Lifts (Louisville, Ky.) chairman of the board of directors at its annual membership meeting on Oct. 28. Lentz takes over from Douglas Grunnet of Stertil-KONI USA (Streator, Ill.), who was recognized at the meeting for his extensive contributions to the organization over his three-year term.
 
Continuing in their roles on the ALI board of directors are Gary Kennon of Vehicle Service Group (Madison, Ind.), Gary DiAngelo of Wheeltronic Ltd. (Mississauga, Ontario), Jeff Kritzer of BendPak, Inc. (Santa Paula, Calif.), Pete Liebetreu of Hunter Engineering Co. (Bridgeton, Mo.) and R.W. (Bob) O’Gorman (ALI president).

The National Auto Body Council (NABC) has announced the winners of the NABC Lone Star Changing and Saving Lives Golf Fundraiser held April 10, 2024 at the Texas Star Golf Course in Dallas. 

More than 125 players, sponsors and industry members gathered for the second tournament of the NABC season. The day featured the presentation of a Recycled Ride to deserving U.S. Army veteran Kijafa Adams prior to the shotgun. In addition, the NABC presented two vehicles the day prior at the PPG Conference to U.S. Army veteran Nathan Burrows and single mother Walnisha Stevenson.
