BASF Accepting Entries for 2nd Annual Glasurit Best Paint Award

The first-place winner will receive a Chip Foose-designed trophy, a personalized rendering autographed by Foose and a customized Glasurit Best Paint Award jacket.

Glasurit Automotive Refinishes will honor outstanding excellence in painting during the 2nd annual Glasurit Best Paint Award, judged and presented by the legendary Chip Foose. Vehicles must be on display at the 2016 SEMA Show and must use Glasurit 22, 55 or 90 Line products including primer, color and clear, to be considered. Foose will judge vehicles based on fit and finish, quality of preparation and final presentation.

“We are proud to partner with world-renowned designer Chip Foose to recognize the highest level of craftsmanship for vehicles restored with Glasurit,” said Glasurit Market Segment Manager Shefali Cromer.

The first-place winner will receive a Chip Foose-designed trophy, a personalized rendering autographed by Foose and a customized Glasurit Best Paint Award jacket. The second and third place winners will also receive personalized and signed renderings and Glasurit Best Paint Award jackets.

The recipient, who asked to remain anonymous, was nominated by Women in Need of the Ozarks, which provides support for local single women facing short-term crises. The car was restored by certified collision repair technicians from Crash Champions who volunteered their time and expertise to restore the vehicle to like-new condition.
