Addition of CARSTAR Sunnyvale marks the 11th CARSTAR shop in the state of California and the second in the San Jose region.

CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts announced the addition of CARSTAR Sunnyvale Auto Body to its multi-shop operator network.

CARSTAR Sunnyvale is owned by Bob Brost and is located in Sunnyvale, Calif. This marks the 11th CARSTAR shop in the state of California, and the second in the San Jose region. CARSTAR Sunnyvale Auto Body was opened in 1945 by Brost’s father, Bill.

“This is a new era for our company,” said Brost. “With today’s competitive marketplace, we need to stay on the cutting edge of technology with technique and equipment to continue to grow. By partnering with CARSTAR, we will continue to improve our purchasing power, maintain our operational efficiency and KPI performance, and expand relationships with national insurance programs. It’s an exciting time for us, and we’re looking forward to what the future holds.”

CARSTAR Sunnyvale Auto Body is housed in a 10,000-square-foot facility outfitted with top-of-the-line tools, frame machines and equipment, a heated downdraft paintbooth and a CCC ONE estimating system. In addition to collision repair, they also offer towing, professional detailing, free shuttle for pickup and delivery, and Enterprise rental cars.

“We’re excited to welcome second-generation owner Bob Brost and CARSTAR Sunnyvale Auto Body to the CARSTAR family,” said Dan Young, president, CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts. “As an experienced owner, he is a tremendous addition to our network of leading collision repair experts around the country.”
