Chief Automotive Technologies announced it will educate NACE | CARS 2015 attendees on how easy aluminum repair can be with the right equipment. NACE | CARS 2015 takes place July 21-25 at the Cobo Center in Detroit, and Chief will be in booth no. 516.
“Many collision repair professionals are still in the learning phase with aluminum, and the metal’s use in car and truck bodies continues to evolve,” said Bob Holland, director of collision in North and South America for Chief parent company Vehicle Service Group (VSG). “That’s why Chief’s NACE | CARS 2015 objectives are to educate attendees about aluminum and help them upgrade their shops with the newest advanced aluminum welders and shop tools.”
NACE | CARS 2015 attendees can see Chief’s latest aluminum joining equipment in action during live MIG/MAG welding and riveting demos on the trade show floor. The demos will take place in the show’s Demo Zone on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
In addition to these demos, Chief staff will lead the “Collision Repair 2015 Design Based Repair” educational session on Thursday, July 23rd. Developed for technicians, estimators and appraisers, this course provides an overview of vehicle design knowledge needed to properly return damaged cars and trucks to OEM specifications.
Chief will also display equipment in the DHI Equipment booth (no. 1317) and in the Shop of Tomorrow showcase. Chief is also a sponsor of the MSO Symposium for the second year in a row, which takes place July 23rd and features educational and networking opportunities for MSO owners and executives.
