Fourth annual Gala Fundraiser deemed most successful event to date, according to the organization.

CIF President Bill Shaw addresses the crowd with fellow trustees. The Collision Industry Foundation (CIF) held its fourth annual Gala Fundraiser in Palm Springs, Calif., on Thursday, Jan. 16. The event hosted more than 100 industry members and included a party complete with Asian fare hor d’oeurves and cocktails at the Lulu California Bistro.

Attendees participated in a raffle and silent auction featuring donated items, including high-end electronics and an Indy Race Car Package. CIF was able to raise $32,000 for the Collision Industry Relief Fund, making the gala the organization’s most successful event to date. The fund assists collision repair professionals who have lost their livelihoods from natural disasters or other catastrophes.

"We could not have done this without the help of those who donated silent auction items and sponsored the event," said Cheryl Bowsell, CIF treasurer. "We are excited about the momentum we are building and being able to help more collision professionals in the future."
