DuPont Announces 2012 Custom Finishes Appearance Schedule

DuPont Performance Coatings has released the schedule of appearances at national custom car shows, pinstriping affairs and other such events in the U.S. for 2012.  

Each display will feature a variety of custom artwork and vehicles constructed by well-known builders and car enthusiasts. The custom finishes offering includes: DuPont Cromax Pro Waterborne Basecoats, DuPont Hot Hues Custom Finishes and DuPont ChromaPremier paint products. DuPont Cromax Pro conforms to the strict low-VOC standards of Southern California and other parts of the U.S. that limit emissions of volatile organic compounds.  

The 2012 DuPont Custom Finishes appearance schedule follows:

• NHRA Hot Rod Reunion – Bowling Green, Ky. – June 14-16
• Goodguys Nationals – Columbus, Ohio – July 6-8
• National Muscle Car Association – Joliet, Ill. – July 12-15
• Right Coast Nationals – Syracuse, New York – July 20-22
• NSRA Street Rod Nationals – Louisville, Ky. – August 2-5
• Goodguys West Coast Nationals – Pleasanton, Calif. – August 24-26
• Goodguys Lone Star Nationals – Dallas, Texas – October 5-7
• National Muscle Car Association – Indianapolis, Ind. – October 11-14
• Specialty Equipment Market Association – Las Vegas, Nev. – October 30-Nov. 2

In addition to the scheduled shows, DuPont will also participate in several regional and local airbrush and pinstriping events.

DuPont representatives will be available to assist with color selection, the use of waterborne technology or any other finishing questions about custom build or restoration projects. DuPont works in partnership with its jobber network to provide paint support. Many of the 2012 shows will be hosted by DuPont Performance Coatings’ jobbers.
