The Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association (CIECA) announced that Enterprise Holdings has renewed its commitment to the organization and the CIECA standards.

Enterprise was one of the 13 companies that helped to support and found CIECA 25 years ago and has remained active in the organization since.

“Part of CIECA’s vision is to find a way for everyone in the industry to communicate, independent of the platform or software used by their business,” said DeVallance Caron, product development director for Enterprise and vice chair of CIECA. “As a significant part of the transportation ecosystem, we communicate with customers, collision centers and insurance companies and feel it is important to bring the industry together to form common standards regarding the sharing of information and management of data. This ultimately serves our customers in the best way possible.”

Caron added that the CIECA collaboration is so important because it’s applicable to everyone and benefits their respective businesses while helping to identify upcoming trends and quickly develop new solutions among a common standard to industry challenges.
