Fix Auto Canada to Support Green Standards for Customers

Daryll O’Keefe, Fix Auto Canada, will take over the active role of participation for Steve Leal, president of Fix Auto World, following the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

The Green Service Standard Committee (GS2) announced that Daryll O’Keefe, Fix Auto Canada, will take over the active role of participation for Steve Leal, president of Fix Auto World, following the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

“Daryll’s knowledge of the collision repair industry makes him the perfect person to help the committee establish standards consistent with both the U.S. and Canadian vehicle efficiency regulations,” said Leal.

Added GS2 Committee chairman Steven Schillinger, “As a new addition to our committee, Daryll O’Keefe, Fix Auto Ontario general manager, has worked closely with me for the past few months as a sounding board and collaborator on many of the strategies we are now implementing. The addition of Daryll’s deep management experience and technology background will help further propel our committee’s mission to develop customer-confidence in emissions rating standards. I am honored that Daryll is joining our committee as a lead delegate for Canadian neighbors, particularly at this important time for our industry (hello Volkswagen), and I am looking forward to working with him.”

“We are glad to have Daryll join the committee and assist our efforts to standardize a scoring system for the automotive aftermarket that brings trust and reliability to government standards,” said Tony Passwater, who was recently installed as committee director.

O’Keefe added, “I am honored that I have been appointed to serve as a contributor on [the] GS2 committee. I am excited to accept this position of guidance. I will use my skills and remain committed to serving the committee on behalf of Fix Auto Canada.”
