On Oct. 19th, Goad’s Body Shop held its 7th Annual Kenney’s Classic Cruise-In at Rockbridge County High School in Lexington, Va. The event featured more than 300 registered cars as well as live music provided by the band Showdown.
Together, with co-sponsors James T. Davis Paint Centers, Proline Trailer Sales, Magic City Ford, Walmart of Harrisonburg, Va., and many prize donors and participants, the event raised more than $25,000 for Rockbridge Area Hospice (RAH). The Cruise-In ensures that RAH is able to fulfill its mission of providing “extraordinary, quality care to all family, friends and neighbors of Rockbridge County and surrounding communities, regardless of ability to pay.”
Goad’s Body Shop is located in Lexington, Va., and has been a part of the community since 1987. The business currently has a staff of 23 people and handles its own restraint systems, A/C repair, framework and glass replacements, and also has a separate restoration shop.
