The Hertz Corporation has been named a preferred car rental partner for Kia Motors America’s more than 640 dealerships in 50 states. Hertz will provide car rental services, including free pickup and return service and an expanded benefit program for Kia’s fixed-operations business.
“A major part of Hertz’s long-term growth strategy is Hertz’s commitment to expand its U.S. off-airport business,” says Hertz President Joseph Nothwang. “Our relationship with Kia will play an integral role in that strategy, providing car rental solutions to customers needing a replacement vehicle while their car is at the dealership.”
Hertz has 1,700 off-airport locations that reach customers in the top 50 metropolitan areas. As a preferred car rental provider, Hertz offers Kia retailers and customers the following:
- Competitive replacement rates, including contracted national Kia warranty rates and direct billing to the Kia dealership.
- Free pickup and delivery service and extended hours of operation.
- A one-pool fleet, allowing Hertz to fulfill dealers’ peak business
demands, including the ability to return vehicles to any Hertz location
with one-way rentals. - The availability of NeverLost in-car GPS system, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, Hertz
#1 Club Gold service and access to its Prestige and Green Collections.
