I-CAR Adds Nick Notte to Leadership Team

Notte will lead the Accounting and Finance, Data Services, Information Technology, Project Management and Lean Process Improvement teams.

Nick-Notte-ICARI-CAR, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, announced that Nick Notte has joined I-CAR as director, Finance and Operations. As a member of the leadership team reporting to John Van Alstyne, CEO and president, Notte will lead the Accounting and Finance, Data Services, Information Technology, Project Management and Lean Process Improvement teams.

Over the past several years, I-CAR has evolved from a historical focus on training to an expanded platform of education, knowledge and service solutions. This drives a need for ongoing strategic evolution and focus on operational excellence, according to I-CAR.

“We are thrilled to have Nick on the team,” said Van Alstyne. “In this newly created role, he will add tremendous value to I-CAR and to the industry. Not only does Nick bring deep background across the collision repair industry, he is also recognized for his contributions to our industry, and he brings solid operational and financial leadership experience to the role. Nick will contribute to I-CAR’s strategic and operational development as we work to further improve, better serve and enhance our relevance across the collision repair industry. We are honored to have him on the team.”

Before joining I-CAR, Notte was most recently with PDR International as COO. Prior to that role, Notte spent six years with Sterling, leading that organization as president through the ultimate sale of the business to Service King. He also held a series of leadership roles with Allstate, including vice president, Research, for Tech-Cor, and director of Auto Claims. Over the years, other positions have included vice president of sales and marketing North America for Nobilas Claim and Fleet Solutions, and vice president of network business development for Mitchell International.

Notte is also no stranger to I-CAR. He served as the I-CAR board chair in 2004-2005 and has served on numerous board of directors committees. He has also served on the Collision Repair Education Foundation Board of Trustees, most recently as vice chair. While at Allstate, he contributed to the vision and creation of the I-CAR Professional Development Program, I-CAR’s flagship role-relevant training program.

Notte will be based at I-CAR’s Training Support Center in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
