Steve Marks, I-CAR industry support manager and collision repair subject matter expert, will speak during the "AHSS Repair and Safety Technologies" track at the Great Designs in Steel 2014 Conference on Wednesday, May 14 in Livonia, Mich. His presentation will begin at 2:45 p.m.
“I‐CAR is committed to serving as the technical ‘linking pin’ between the collision repair inter-industry and OEMs, working methodically in collaboration with OEMs to improve awareness of repair challenges that lead to common solutions, reduce and eliminate gaps in repair information, while improving standardization and industry accessibility to the information required to support proper repairs,” said Marks. “It is important to know that our ‘linking pin’ activity is one of four key elements in I-CAR’s Repairability Technical Support program, which is designed to provide enhanced technical support to the industry, supporting complete, safe and quality repairs for the ultimate benefit of the consumer.”
