Leading Edge Auto Refinishes Welcomes New Technical Service Specialist

Leading Edge Auto Refinishes, Inc., a single-line BASF ColorSource distributor based in Tempe, Ariz., has added Dana Padilla as their fourth full-tiime technical service specialist.

Padilla, who started his new job on Aug. 30, has nearly 30 years of collision experience. He began his career in 1983
as an automotive refinisher. Since then, he has worked for several automotive
paint manufacturers, including Sherwin-Williams, ICI AutoColor and AkzoNobel. He spent several years as a paint distributor, where he was responsible
for technical/sales representation and account management. During his
career, Padilla has used most major paint lines, including BASF, PPG,
DuPont, AkzoNobel and Sherwin-Williams.

"I’m tired of working for the same old type of company and am looking for something different – a new and exciting way of servicing customers," said Padilla. "Our responsibility to our customers goes beyond paint."
