The Martin Senour Company announced its new March through June 2012 training schedule. Training courses will be held at Martin Senour locations nationwide and include an emphasis on sustainable operations from both a business and technical standpoint.
Martin Senour training sessions are designed to help shop owners, managers and technicians better practice lean thinking, as well as improve their repair techniques and knowledge of today’s new innovative painting systems.
Jeff Green, Martin Senour director of sales, noted that the brand has received increased requests for more classes regarding waterborne technologies. In response to those needs, the company will provide additional classes specific to those practices and include hands-on work with its famed VORTEX waterborne basecoat system.
Martin Senour professionals will teach the following course topics during the second quarter of 2012:
Estimating solutions for increased profit
Achieving service excellence
VORTEX waterborne basecoat system
Painter certification
Color adjustment and blending
Fleet refinishing
There will also be classes on the new Martin Senour Pro//Base Refinish System that offers a standard (National Rule) basecoat/clearcoat system developed specifically for mid-range shops that have medium production needs and are seeking a production-driven solvent-based paint system.
In addition there will be special courses available to select distributors, as well as vocational instructor training sessions on products, application techniques and shop productivity.
