The Martin Senour Company has announced its new July through September 2013 training schedule. Courses will be held at Martin Senour training center locations nationwide and will emphasize sustainable operations from both a business and technical application standpoint.
According to Brandon Devis, Martin Senour director of sales, all the brand’s training sessions are designed to help shop owners, managers and technicians better practice lean thinking, as well as improve their repair techniques and knowledge of today’s new painting systems. In particular, Devis noted that the brand has received increased requests for more classes regarding waterborne technologies. In response to those needs, the company will provide additional sessions specific to those practices and include hands-on work with its Vortex basecoat-clearcoat waterborne system.
Martin Senour professionals will teach the following course topics during the third quarter of 2013:
Achieving Service Excellence
Color Adjustment & Blending
Estimating Solutions for Profit
Painter Certification
Pro//BASE Refinish System Painter Certification
VORTEX Waterborne Painter Certification
There will also be special courses available for NAPA and Martin Senour’s Jobber Level One curriculum, available to select distributors, as well as vocational instructor training sessions on products, application techniques and shop productivity.
