Ray Gunder to Discuss Battling Short-Pays at ASA-Michigan Event

Attorneys Brent Geohagen and John Eaves Jr. also to make appearances at Jan. 18, 2014, meeting.

The Automotive Service Association of Michigan (ASA-Michigan) announced that Ray Gunder, owner of Gunder’s Auto Center and advocate for customer repair rights, will travel to Novi, Mich., to discuss how to legally stop insurance short-pays. The presentation will take place Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Suburban Collection Showplace’s Amethyst Room, located at 46100 Grand River Ave.

Also in attendance will be Gunder’s attorney, Brent Geohagen, and attorney John Eaves Jr., who represented Mississippi shops that filed an injunction against PartsTrader earlier this year. In addition, a local attorney will be present to answer questions regarding Michigan law.

Seating is limited for this event, and the cost to attend is $40 per person until Dec. 27 (price raises to $65 beginning Dec. 28). Attendees do not need to be ASA-Michigan members to attend.
