Refinish Distributors Alliance Spring Membership Meeting Held in Texas

The event included speakers, roundtable discussions and a trade show displaying IMPACT Performance Products, which is RDA’s exclusive brand.

Refinish Distributors Alliance (RDA) announced it held its spring membership meeting May 12-13 at the Hyatt Regency River Walk in San Antonio, Texas. The two days included speakers, roundtable discussions and a trade show displaying IMPACT Performance Products, which is RDA’s exclusive brand.

Keynote Speaker Jason Vines gave a presentation on, “If You Think You’re Immune to a Crisis, You’re Nuts.” Vines, the former vice president of communications for Nissan North America, Ford Motor Company and Chrysler, is a well-known author and speaker.

Also speaking to the group was David Roberts of Focus Automotive Services Group, who addressed RDA members on the topic of consolidation: “Cope, Survive & Thrive.” Roberts cofounded Caliber Collision, the world’s first consolidator and now one of the “big four” consolidators in the U.S.

“The objective of our meeting was to provide valuable information with the emphasis being placed on future changes in the PBE distribution model and how distributors can best be prepared for such changes,” said Executive Director Robert McKenzie Jr.
